“Like the fragile dove in the cover of this book, your wings are broken, and your feet are tied to the ground. The rest of the birds are cheering you up, inviting you to come along, fly with them and have a jolly time. The truth is that your wounds are invisible to the eyes of the ones who are seeing you from up high.”
